I was born in Memphis, TN in December of 1976. We moved to Colorado while I was still in diapers and I learned that when hiking you always want to go to the top, and that Never Eat Sour Wheat isn’t just a good idea it helps you remember which way you are going.
After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1999 I knew I wanted to work getting business owners online effectively. Since 2000 my primary source of income has been based off of the Internet and Web so I have seen a lot of what works and even more of what doesn’t work. The one thing I do know is that we need to get moving, and fast!

I started this Roger Williams Media because I love sales, marketing, and business so much that I figure I should do it for myself. Oh and I am really good at it too(thats what people keep saying anyway).

In past lives I worked for Godaddy.com, Limelight Networks, Level 3 Communications, and various boutique marketing shops. I have enjoyed all of my working experiences and learned countless lessons about business and the Internet. I take all of those experiences and apply them to my client work daily. I also learn from my clients daily because its all a learning process.

I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, went to school in Boulder, and moved to Phoenix in 2000 cause the weather was pretty nice when I first visited in May… thats another story. I am excited to be in Phoenix because you can’t shovel sunshine and I think Phoenix has great potential, we just need to tell our stories better.

Which brings me to my focus as a marketer: content is king. While I write this that motto is my company statement, it might be different now but its a central theme. If you don’t have any content online and aren’t adding new content regularly you are no where. NO WHERE! Google doesn’t love you, prospects have no idea what you do, and children laugh at you on the sidewalk. That last one was probably a stretch but who knows? Suffice to say that if we work together I am going to pressure you constantly for new information about you, your business, your market, and your clientele. If you can’t handle that its cool. If you can handle that its even cooler.

So which one is it: cool or cooler?
