AccuTemp Refrigeration Website Redesign
Outdated website design and technology needed a complete update and overhaul,
A few details
Roger met Cathy Murley at a Yoga retreat in southern Arizona where they hit it off over beers with Roger’s wife Kate. They talked about yoga and life and a little about her family’s Air Conditioning business in Phoenix. A few months later Cathy emailed Roger asking if he could help with their online marketing efforts as their existing website was not producing results. They needed new customers and their competitors were eating their lunch on the web.
They wanted to get relevant Organic and Paid Search Engine traffic coming to their website. Once it got to the site they wanted the traffic to figure out what they needed and how AccuTemp could help. Then it was a matter of making it easy for them to contact for service.
How we solved it
Roger immediately sat down with Cathy and the key stakeholders at AccuTemp and began to understand what they needed the website to do for them. The key to these meetings is avoiding any technical discussion about HTML or SEO as none of that has anything to do with getting the phone to ring. What is key is learning more about who their ideal client is and then creating a solution that gets that person to call.
One critical aspect of the AccuTemp business is that the technicians are non-commissioned. AccuTemp has been against that method of doing business from day one and will never compromise itself. Tech’s are there to fix things. If something is broken beyond repair they discuss it with the customer with zero sales pressure.
This one factor determined a huge amount of how the website would be designed especially when it came to Calls To Action (CTAs).
We also needed to figure out who their ideal customer was. AccuTemp Refrigeration does refrigeration work but only commercially. We wanted to make sure Joe Sixpack wasn’t calling about his Fridgidare letting his lamb chops spoil.
A Local SEO and Mobile Aware solution would also need to be implemented as well.
